Registered Psychologist

Rachel is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and a member of the Canadian Psychological Association. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Biology, and a Master’s Degree in Counselling. Previously, she worked in the nonprofit sector, providing psychological services to individuals, couples and families for a variety of concerns, including grief, anxiety, stress, self-worth, trauma and relationship challenges. She has a special interest in both trauma recovery and relationship concerns. Rachel utilizes different modalities depending on what is suitable to the client, such as Emotions Focused, Cognitive Behavioural and Solutions Focused approaches. She is formally trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Prolonged Exposure.
