Mouhammed "Moe" Halat

Moe completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University of Calgary in 2003. His areas of concentration were developmental and social psychology.
Moe went on to complete his Masters of Art degree in Forensic Psychology in 2006 at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois, USA. There he had exposure to one of the most robust and experienced forensic programs in North America. Following degree completion in Chicago, Moe took employment at Drumheller Institution as an Associate Psychologist. A few years later, he took a corrections psychologist position at the Calgary Remand Center where he worked for 13 years.
With over 15 years of experience, Moe had the pleasure of successfully working with a wide variety of mental health issues. He has a deep understanding of disruptive behaviours, personality psychopathology (mental illnesses), trauma, reality-challenged issues, sex and gender-related concerns, and overall life stress. He is culturally competent and has successfully worked with a wide variety of people from many backgrounds. Moe’s clinical style involves a direct, open, and honest approach.
