Laura Kalbfleisch is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists, and is also a member of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta.  Laura completed her graduate degree in Chicago, and has experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. She has extensive experience working in a forensic setting, most recently with the Correctional Service of Canada, specializing in Risk Assessments and providing individual and group therapy for incarcerated individuals.  This work has provided her with unique insight into the challenges first responders face in their work environments and day-to-day life.  In addition to being passionate about helping individuals recover from traumatic experiences, Laura is also a certified Grief Recovery Method specialist, and enjoys working with issues of grief and loss, including pet loss, divorce and other difficult life transitions   

Laura prioritizes a safe and supportive therapeutic environment that is empathetic, caring and compassionate.  Her mission is to assist clients in realizing their goals and recognizing their strengths.
