Braxtyn is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) and a member of the Psychologists Association of Alberta (PAA). She completed her Master of Science at the University of Calgary and her Bachelor of Science in Honours Psychology at the University of British Columbia. During her studies, Braxtyn worked as a behaviour interventionist which inspired her graduate research focus on emotion dysregulation and challenging behaviour in autistic children. Braxtyn has extensive experience working with children, youth, and adults with various needs and conducts comprehensive psychoeducational, ADHD, and risk assessments.

In her therapeutic practice, Braxtyn strives to create a safe and supportive space that fosters growth toward healing, increased self-awareness, and personal development. She believes that every individual has a unique set of strengths and strives to help them build up their 'toolbox' so that they feel equipped to take on any social, behavioural, or emotional challenges they may face in their daily lives.
