Alex holds a Master Degree in Counselling Psychology and is a Registered Psychologist in Calgary, Alberta. He is an Associate Faculty Member at City University (Calgary, Alberta) and has taught at Mount Royal University and Bow Valley College where he enjoys supervising and teaching various graduate level courses to his students. Alex understands the importance of trauma-informed care and being compassionate towards his client’s needs. Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered (Rogerian) Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Alex strives to help clients manage the many challenges they face and the emotional dysregulation they may feel. Alex takes a client centered approach and has extensive experience with grief and loss.
