COVID-19
Your mental health care options during COVID-19
November 16, 2020
At Wayfound we take health and safety seriously. We have been monitoring the COVID 19 situation closely, including recommendations from Alberta Health ministers about how to best ensure public safety during the pandemic. As a precautionary measure, we have decided that over the next few weeks, we will provide most services virtually. This means that you can continue to engage in your treatment program with your psychologist, but in a way that will preserve your health as well as the health of your psychologist, and the community as a whole. This decision will be reviewed on a week-by-week basis.
We want you to know that we understand that these are difficult times and that many of you out there may be struggling with increased feelings of anxiety and uncertainty about the future. We are here for you and your families. We want to continue to provide you with support and help as we all work together to get through this challenge. All of our Wayfound and staff will continue to be available and we can arrange immediate appointments for you or your family members. Our reception staff will be available from 8am to 5pm Monday to Saturday.
