Our Why

Helping you find your way.

Health connects us all and affects us all.  Improving the health and wellness of one individual, family, co-worker, neighbour can improve and strengthen the greater community. This is why we work tirelesley to innovate, connect, train and research all aspects of mental health.

For over 21 years, we have been helping people develop the skills they need to thrive. With over 30 clinicians and growing, our team is passionate about delivering the best counselling treatment possible. Starting in 1999, as WGM Psychology, Dr. William McElheran grew his dynamic practice in Calgary, Alberta. As a pioneer in Mental Health treatment, he quickly attracted the best counselling talent in the province; including passing the operational reigns over to his daughter, Dr. Megan McElheran in 2007.

Today, the practice is known as the pre-eminent trauma treatment clinic across Canada. Wayfound has four locations; Calgary, Red Deer, Edmonton, Toronto, and Durham.  Our core values remain the same across the board;  we are Caring and Collaborative in the communities we serve. We remain steadfast in Advocating for mental health care for all. We continuously see Innovation in mental health delivery.
